1. Introduction
Hi myself Aarav Nandwani my business Digicap is an independent digital marketing professional based in India, offering services such as search engine optimisation, social media management, paid advertising, content marketing, email marketing, and analytics/reporting Digital Marketing all Services to clients directly and through freelance platforms.
This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information obtained through my website, proposals, contracts, client onboarding forms, invoicing, and the marketing campaigns I run on behalf of clients. It is framed in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the principles of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 along with the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 notified by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, whose substantive obligations are being brought into force in phases up to May 2027.
By engaging my Services, visiting my website, or submitting your details through a form, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.
2. Information I Collect
Client and lead information: name, email address, phone number, company name, designation, billing/GST details, and communication preferences shared via contact forms, proposals, contracts, or email.
Payment information: invoice details, UPI ID, bank account particulars for direct transfers, or transaction records generated by payment gateways and freelance platforms (such as Razorpay, PayPal, or Upwork) that I use to send or receive payments. I do not store full card numbers or gateway passwords; these are handled directly by the respective licensed payment processor.
Campaign and account-access data: login or access-token credentials to client advertising accounts, analytics properties, social media pages, email marketing tools, and website backends that you grant me for the purpose of delivering Services.
Website and analytics data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and cookies collected through tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar tracking technologies used on my website or on client properties I manage.
Audience data processed on behalf of clients: where I manage campaigns, email lists, or ad accounts for a client, I process end-customer data strictly as instructed by that client, who remains responsible as the principal data controller/fiduciary for that data.
3. How I Use Your Information
- To respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, and onboard clients.
- To deliver contracted digital marketing Services, including campaign setup, optimisation, and reporting.
- To raise invoices, process payments, and maintain accounting and tax records as required by Indian law.

I do not sell or rent personal information. I may share information only in the following circumstances:
- With sub-contractors, designers, or virtual assistants engaged to support delivery of Services, bound by confidentiality obligations.
- With third-party platforms and tools necessary to perform the Services, such as Google, Meta, LinkedIn, email service providers, scheduling tools, and payment gateways/freelance marketplaces.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
My website may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, analyse traffic, and measure the performance of marketing campaigns. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may limit certain website functions. Where I manage tracking pixels or tags on a client’s website on the client’s instructions, the client’s own privacy policy and consent banner govern that data collection.

Personal information is stored on password-protected devices, reputable cloud storage providers, and within the platforms named above, using reasonable technical and organisational security safeguards appropriate to a sole-proprietor freelance practice. Information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, to meet contractual commitments, or to satisfy statutory record-keeping requirements (such as those under the Income Tax Act, 1961, and GST law), after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Subject to applicable law, you may request to:

- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Withdraw consent or request erasure of your information, where feasible.
- Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

My Services are intended for businesses and individuals above 18 years of age. I do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If I become aware that information has been inadvertently collected from a minor without verifiable parental consent, I will delete it promptly.

Such transfers occur only through established, widely used international service providers, in line with their own privacy and security commitments and applicable Indian regulations on cross-border data transfer.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in my practices, the Services offered, or applicable law, including the phased implementation of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy will indicate the most recent revision. Continued use of my Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
